Financial Controller
About the Role
CV Screen is recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a high-growth, direct-to-consumer retail brand specialising in trend-led, personalised jewellery and accessories. This fully remote position (with occasional visits to London or Manchester) offers a salary of up to £60,000 plus excellent benefits. The business is one of the UK’s fastest-growing online brands, with expanding operations across the UK, EU and US markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Financial Controller to play a key role in shaping financial strategy within an ambitious, forward-thinking organisation.
Duties & Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.

Produce monthly management accounts with insightful analysis across territories and product categories.

Oversee UK, EU VAT and US sales tax compliance, liaising with external advisors.

Drive improvements in financial controls, reporting efficiency and system automation.

Partner with operational and marketing teams to enhance margin, profitability and cost control.
What Experience is Required

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP).

Experience in a senior finance role within e-commerce, retail or a fast-scaling environment.

Strong background in VAT/indirect tax and multi-entity, multi-currency reporting.
